Summer Mission 2010

The Mission is the Vision

Summer is off to a good start at AACH.  We just finsihed helping the Canaan Bhutanese Church with a successful conference.  Several pastors from Texas and Georgia attended this two day event. Saturday evening a concert was held by Karna Das. Karna is a famous singer from Nepal, and he is also a believer.  250 Bhutanese from the Houston area attended the concert.

Lots of things happening at AACH we have baptized 6 more Bhutanese people from Canaan Bhutanese Church. Another family has recently accepted Christ. We have 6 more to baptize in the near future.

Pastor Brad will be out of town at a conference March 19-26.  He will be in Pittsburgh, PA for the annual ACA (American Counseling Association) Conference. 

We are planning another outreach medical/dental event for the Bhutanese this summer.  New Song Church from Dallas will be returning again.

I recently returned from an Asian Missions Conference held at New Song Korean Church in the Dallas area.  New Song came to AACH last year and brought a medical team to reach out to the Bhutanese community.  As a result of this outreach 8 Bhutanese nationals accepted Christ and over 90 people were rendered medical and dental services. The GREAT NEWS is that they want to come again in the summer of 2010 for another outreach and have expressed a desire to partner with AACH in other areas as well.
